So, what’s the deal?


Option 1: Full Board with Self-Sufficiency Activities @ £55 per person per night

You can come and explore our lifestyle on a ‘Taste of Self Sufficiency’ deal. This is on a Vegan/Vegetarian full board basis (breakfast, lunch and dinner) which includes our time exploring any of the aspects that particularly interest you in our lifestyle as well as hands-on experience working in our gardens or in our home learning our techniques (as described on our “Being Self-Sufficient” page) as well as tasks in our daily activities such as making bread.  Lunch and dinner are yummy and nutritious, and made from our home-grown produce.

Option 2: Vegan Half Board @ £45 per person per night

If you find it hard to get good quality vegan food when travelling then why not try staying with us. We provide a delicious vegan dinner in the evening made with fresh produce from our vegan smallholding as well as a home made continental breakfast including home-made organic bread, fruit preserves (sourced from our organic gardens), fresh coffee or tea as well as access to fresh herbs from our kitchen garden. Plus you can join us, if you wish, in our daily tasks and learn about how we grow a balanced vegan diet in our gardens including our own proteins.

For sleeping you can choose either a King Size Bed

Enjoy sleeping in a furnished double room with a comfy king-size bed with sprung slats, cotton-rich linen with king size feather duvet and feather-filled pillows.  Great value!

Or a Double Room with Two Single Beds

Have a great nights sleep in a furnished double room with two comfy single bed with sprung slats, cotton-rich linen with double feather duvets and feather-filled pillows.  


Access to our Spacious Kitchen, Lounge and Shared Areas

Enjoy relaxing in our spacious kitchen or roomy lounge with log fire, comfy sofas and reclining chairs.  Alternatively, savour the peace and tranquility by sitting out on our large patio or sipping a glass of homemade wine whilst admiring Nature on our field.  Bliss!

Please note our home isn’t suitable for children under 12 years old age and as we regularly look after a neighbour’s dog, we don’t accept bookings with pets.  If you are on a low income and want to stay with us, we do offer concessions in return for helping us in the house or working in the gardens.

We offer great value for money

We keep our prices low because we live in a different economy where we live on a joint income of less than £6,000 per year, so if you also want to learn about how we do that then you’ll just have to come and find out.
